Oven pasta with tartar, leek and ricotta

So, this weekend I had a pretty busy weekend, doing all kinds of small jobs in my house. Sanding, painting, potting plants for my balcony. With all this exercise, I needed a healthy but easy meal. I decided on a new recipe and it’s one to stay. It’s easy to make and delicious.

Oven pasta with tartar, leek and ricotta
Serves 4

Preparation: 30 min
Baking: 20 min

ø Oven dish


  • 3 sjalots
  • 1/2 bag of selery
  • 300 g tartar
  • 150 g ricotta
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 300 g whole grain penne
  • 1 can of tomato cubes


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (355 F)
  2. Slice up the sjalots and the selery
  3. Put the tartar in a bowl with half of the sjalots, half of the selery, 2 tbsp of ricotta, and pepper
  4. Knead until mixed and with moist hands make 16 balls the size of a walnut
  5. Heat up olive oil in a saute pan and bake the ricotta balls for 5 min
  6. Take out of the pan and put on a plate
  7. Meanwhile, rinse the leek and cut in rings om 1/2 cm
  8. Slice the peppers in cubes
  9. Boil the penne.
  10. Meanwhile heat up olive oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 1 min
  11. Add the leek and pepper and bake for 5 min
  12. Add the tomate cubes and boil on low heat for another 4 min
  13. Bring to the taste with salt and pepper
  14. Add the pasta and tartar balls to the sauce and spread in the oven dish
  15. Divide the rest of the ricotta over the oven dish and put in the middle of the oven for 20 min
  16. Garnish with the rest of the selery.
